1. How do I know what size sofa to choose?
Size matters and in this case you get to decide.
The first thing you need to do when choosing the size of your sofa is to get out your measuring tape and measure the space it will take up. Keep in mind the other items that will accompany your sofa, such as the Moonap side table (great for holding your tea and preventing liquids from ending up on your upholstery) or other furniture.
Once you know the measurements you can use, check the measurements of the modules on our website and choose the ones that will make up your composition.
Make your sofa adapt to your needs.
1- To get a visual idea of the space your sofa will occupy, you can use masking tape to mark the depth and width of your composition in the space of honor you have reserved for your sofa.
2- Take into account the number of people who will use the sofa, and you will avoid fights over space on the sofa.
3- It doesn't hurt to be cautious, don't be lazy and check the measurements of everything!
2. What sitting background do I choose?
It's all a matter of taste. To know which seat to choose, you must evaluate how you sit. We've left you a survey so you can
know if you are more of a wide or narrow sitter:
1- Are you one of those who likes to lie down more?
2- Do you like a more relaxed sitting position or do you prefer an upright sitting position?
3- What do you use the sofa for? Do you eat on it? Is it your reading corner? Maybe you end up sleeping on it?
3. What upholstery do I choose?
To make this task easier for each model, you can choose from a small range of colours in which each colour has been selected for its versatility.
Whichever you choose, we are sure that it will fit perfectly with the rest of the elements in your room.
4. What is the warranty offered?
- FRAME: 10-year warranty
- SUSPENSION: 10 -year warranty *
- REST OF THE SOFA: 3 year warranty
All sofas collapse because the frame breaks or the seat suspension collapses. With our Moonap you can rest easy. We offer a lifetime guarantee.
The day you get tired of them, you can sell them second-hand for a higher value than the rest of the second-hand market.
*SUSPENSION is the flexible system that supports the seat cushion (whether webbing or metal), not the rubber that is placed on top.
5. What is the return and exchange policy?
See conditions
6. Does it fit in my car?
The volumes of our sofas are reduced to the maximum so that they take up the least possible space, so that you can transport them in your car.
This reduction in volume allows us to optimize transport and therefore reduce our carbon footprint.
However, you must take into account that the volume of the sofa
Monroe is smaller as they are smaller modules. The modules of the Redford sofa are
larger and take up twice the space of Monroe, so you will need a slightly larger car.
7. How do I care for my sofa?
From Moonap we recommend the following to take care of your sofa:
Aspire.
This way we will eliminate dust, hair and dirt that can accumulate on the upholstery, keeping it clean for longer.
Fluffing cushions. To prevent cushions from deforming, it is best to use your hands to pat the filling so that it is evenly distributed. This will prevent them from deforming.
Sit in all the seats. We know that once you find your spot, it's hard to sit somewhere else, but try to use the modules evenly. This will prevent one seat from deforming more than another and you'll be able to better maintain your sofa.
Avoid sun exposure. Just as the sun can stain our skin, fabrics can lose their color. Therefore, even though the fabrics are of the highest quality, avoid direct sun exposure as it could discolor the sofa unevenly.
Unintended fluids. If by accident a fluid or substance ends up on your upholstery, we recommend cleaning it as soon as possible, thus preventing the stain from penetrating the upholstery. We recommend applying water and rubbing with gentle circular movements using a clean cotton cloth. If the stain persists, dilute neutral soap in water and apply it to the stain, rub gently with a clean soft cloth, rinse and check if the stain has disappeared.
Avoid abrasive cleaning products. We should use mild cleaners, as these could damage the upholstery, cause it to lose colour, etc.
Keep away from heat sources. Avoid placing your sofa near heat sources, as these can damage the upholstery and cause discoloration.
Washing the covers . Always check the washing instructions on the cover before washing it.
case label.
8. How do I wash the covers?
We believe that sofas should have removable covers so you can wash the covers and keep your sofa looking like new.
To do this, you must follow the washing instructions for the upholstery, which you will find on the label of the covers. If for whatever reason you cannot find them, you can consult the information about the fabric on our website.
Tips:
- Fabrics are items that need to be looked after. The best way to keep them in good condition is to avoid stains as much as possible.
- Machine washable. Before you jump into the pool and wash all the covers, we recommend doing a test wash and washing a cushion cover. As long as the upholstery allows it.
- Machine washable. Protect the good side of the fabric, for this put the covers inside out, protect the velcro, close the zippers...
- Daily cleaning. We recommend cleaning the upholstery with a clean, soft, slightly damp cloth to remove accumulated dust and dirt.
9. Can I sell it second-hand?
Our products are designed to last and age gracefully, so
that the day you get tired of it you can sell it secondhand and give it a second life.
